We help public-sector teams replace outdated ways of working with secure, connected tools built around Slack and Salesforce. If you believe government work can be simpler, faster and more human, you'll fit right in.
Authorized Slack and Salesforce partner. More than 20 years of government consulting experience.
govSlackers is looking for a Slack Consultant who is equally comfortable talking business strategy and technology. A go-getter with strong business acumen who can partner with customers, understand their operational challenges, and translate business needs into innovative solutions built on Slack. In this role you'll partner directly with customers, guiding them to rethink how work gets done using a modern work platform. Slack expertise is a plus, not a prerequisite: what matters most is curiosity, strong problem-solving instincts, and a genuine passion for delivering business outcomes.
This role reports to the CEO. This is a primarily remote position, but may require travel to customer sites, up to 30% of the time. This is a full-time, salaried position that offers comprehensive benefits and a salary range of $120,000 to $165,000 annually, plus bonus, based on level of consulting and Slack experience.
Apply NowTo be eligible for this position you must be a U.S. citizen. govSlackers is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
govSlackers is looking for a Slack Architect to lead the technical design behind our customer engagements. This is a hands-on, deeply technical role for someone who can architect scalable, secure, and well-governed Slack environments. The ideal candidate enjoys solving tough technical problems as much as talking through them with customers. You'll partner closely with our Slack Consultants, taking the business needs they've uncovered and turning them into robust technical architecture: integrations, automations, governance frameworks, and custom-built solutions on the Slack platform.

Small team. Real responsibility. Visible impact.
At a big consulting firm, it can take years to get close to the meaningful work. Here, you're already close.
The solutions you help create can improve how public servants respond, coordinate and serve.
Good ideas don't need to travel through seven layers of approval before anyone listens.
Our team brings decades of government consulting, technology and change-management experience—and shares what it knows.
We trust people to think, make decisions and move things forward.
We're growing. The people joining us now will influence how we work, what we build and what govSlackers becomes.
We expect excellent work. We do not expect corporate theater.
This is where the personality can really come through.
You don't need to come from one exact background. We value people who are curious, dependable and genuinely invested in making work better.
Good work requires more than a laptop and a list of assignments. We want our people to have the trust, flexibility, support and opportunities they need to build a career—not simply complete a contract.
Benefits and eligibility may vary by position and employment classification. We'll be clear about what applies before you enter the interview process.
Not for every role. Government experience can be valuable, but so can strong consulting, technology, customer success, change management or delivery experience. Each listing will explain what is actually required.
It depends on the position. For some technical roles, certifications may be required or preferred. For others, we're more interested in how you solve problems, communicate and help people adopt new ways of working.
Many of our roles may support remote or hybrid work, but requirements can vary by client, contract and location. Each job listing will provide the specifics.
Some public-sector projects require an active clearance or the ability to obtain one. If that applies, we'll say so clearly in the job description.
Our team may include Slack and Salesforce specialists, consultants, developers, solution architects, project leaders, adoption experts, customer-success professionals and people who understand how government gets work done.
Introduce yourself anyway. Tell us what you're great at and what kind of public-sector problems you want to solve. We'll keep your information in mind as the team grows.
However you found us, we're glad you're here. Fill this out and someone from our team will follow up directly.
